You can read my first blog post and the start of my journey here:  https://thecuriousseaturtle.wordpress.com/2013/04/12/today-i-woke-up-with-a-fat-face/

2 small children. A husband. An unhealthy addiction to old episodes of Roseanne.  A tendency to overuse ellipsis.  And a very vague autoimmune diagnosis of ‘the kissing cousin to lupus’.  What the chicken?! Thrust into the confusing and frustrating world of an undiagnosable autoimmune disease and battling the most stubborn case of vasculitis, I now face a new world of finding other options when conventional medicine just isn’t doing its job.  And even when it is.  I will try to navigate naturalists and meditation and diet changes with humor and grace…well humor anyways…and if anyone wants to come along for the ride I’ll be happy to have you….just be sure to click the ‘Follow’ button. xo

  1. Hi there. Well, I was just going through some old comments, and came across yours on my “Ten Famous Autocorrected Quotes.” Thanks for the sweet comment. And well, I came here to read your bio. Cheers to you, the hubby, and the kiddos.

I’m a jokester, but sometimes you gotta put jokes aside, and wish someone the best of luck with their path to answers, perseverance, and good health. I also wish you the best of luck with that Rosanne addiction. It can be a nasty bugger to kick, but I’m 12 years Roseanne free, and still going strong. Hang in there darling. Keep that sense of humor, and keep that lovely spirit of yours.

    • Well we turned off our cable last week and it’s been a rough few days of sweating and swearing at the kids but I think I finally have that shrill voiced monkey off of my back 😉 First step was admitting I had a problem…on the internet…eeeek!

      • Well, congratulations! You gotta start somewhere, and admitting it was the most important first step. Stay strong, find a support group, be open with your Rosanne addiction. Your good friends will understand and be there for you. Good to see that sense of humor is still in tact 🙂
